Will I need to add more hardware to my restaurant?
Nope! OpenTab integrates directly with your existing POS system, so there's no need for additional hardware.
Are OpenTab payments secure?
Yes, we use a secure, PCI compliant tokenization system that ensures your bills are paid.
Will using OpenTab delay our restaurant's payouts?
No. Since we integrate directly to your POS system, money will transfer to your account just the same as it already does.
How much training is required for our staff?
Almost none. All you need to do is let them know that guests may walk in with a tab already open, and tabs may close on your POS without them doing anything. Other than that, it's business as usual.
How are tips handled?
Customers will be able to set up a tip when opening a tab, closing a tab, or have the ability to use their account's default tip setting. Please feel free to reach out for a demo!
Do you offer a mobile app?
Your customers will have access to our free mobile app where they can open and close tabs. Restaurant-side dashboards and analytics are best seen through desktop and tablet.
Do all of my tabs have to be paid through OpenTab?
No, OpenTab will simply be an option for customers to use. However, we do offer a $5 credit for every new user you sign up!
How much time will my team save?
Bartenders and servers spend up to two hours per shift managing tabs. We hope to eliminate the time spent on these admin activities.
